What the jewellery is
Is this real gold?
No. Everything we sell is imitation jewellery: a brass or copper-alloy base plated in gold colour, matte or antique finish, set with kemp, American diamond, pearl and coral stones that are glass, synthetic or shell. It looks like the real thing at a tenth of the price, and the product page says exactly what each piece is made of.
What do gold plated, matte and antique mean?
All three are electroplated finishes on the same brass base. Gold plated is the bright, polished look; matte gold is the same plating left soft and even; antique gold is a darker plating rubbed back on the raised figures so they glow against a matted ground, the look of temple jewellery. The finish is listed on every product page and you can filter the shop by it.
How long does the plating last?
With care, years; without it, months. Perfume, deodorant, sweat and water are what dull plating, so put jewellery on last, take it off before bathing and sleeping, wipe it with a dry cloth and store it in its pouch. Pieces worn daily will wear faster than occasion pieces; replating is possible at the store for a small charge.
Are the stones real?
Kemp is coloured glass cut in the traditional temple shapes; AD stands for American diamond, a cubic zirconia; pearls are shell or glass pearls; coral and other beads are glass or resin unless the product page says otherwise. The stones line on each product page names them.
Ordering and payment
How can I pay?
By UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, wallets or EMI through Razorpay, or by cash on delivery for orders up to ₹5,000 to the PIN codes where our couriers collect cash. Cash-on-delivery orders are confirmed with a one-time code sent to the delivery number.
Will I get a GST invoice?
Yes. A tax invoice with the HSN code (7117, imitation jewellery) and the GST split is raised the moment your order is placed and emailed to you; you can also download it from your order page. Add your GSTIN at checkout for a business invoice.
What does pre-book mean?
A pre-book piece is not on the shelf; it is made or sourced for you after you order and leaves the store in the number of working days shown on its page, usually eight to ten. You pay when you order, and it is delivered like any other piece once dispatched.
Can I buy a piece in a different size?
Bangles and rings are offered in the sizes listed on the product page; see the size guide for how to measure. If your size is not listed, write to us on WhatsApp: most designs can be had in other sizes within a week or two.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. Boutiques and resellers can write to us on WhatsApp or come to the store for trade prices and minimum quantities. Wholesale orders are placed with us directly, not through this site.
Delivery
What does delivery cost?
Standard delivery is ₹79 and free on orders of ₹999 and above; express delivery is ₹149. There is no extra charge for cash on delivery.
How long does delivery take?
Pieces in stock leave the store within two working days. Standard delivery then takes three to seven working days depending on your PIN code, and express one to three. Pre-book pieces leave after the lead time on their page. The product page and the checkout show the courier's expected date for your PIN code.
How do I track my parcel?
You receive an email with the tracking number when the parcel is booked, when it is out for delivery and when it is delivered. Your order page shows the courier's scans, and the tracking page accepts the number from the email. Where the courier supports it, the parcel is handed over only against a one-time code sent to the delivery number.
Do you deliver outside India?
Not through this site yet. Write to us on WhatsApp with what you would like and where, and we will quote the courier charge.
Replacements and exchanges
What if a piece arrives damaged or is not what I ordered?
Write to us within 7 days of delivery from your order page or on WhatsApp, with a photograph. A courier collects the piece from your door at no cost and we send a replacement, or refund you in full if the piece cannot be replaced, including any delivery charge.
Can I return a piece because I changed my mind?
Pieces are not returned on a change of mind. Damage, a quality fault, a wrong piece, a piece clearly unlike its photographs, or a bangle or ring in the wrong size are replaced or exchanged within 7 days. If you are unsure about a size or colour, ask us on WhatsApp before you order and we will send photographs of the actual piece.
Can I exchange a bangle or ring for another size?
Yes, within 7 days of delivery, unworn and in its pouch. Request the exchange from your order page; a courier collects the piece and the new size is sent once it reaches us. Delivery both ways is on us the first time.
When do I get my refund?
A refund is approved within two working days of the piece reaching the store and being checked; banks and card issuers then show it within five to seven working days. Online payments go back to the account they came from; cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer or UPI.
Care
How should I look after gold-plated jewellery?
Put it on last, after perfume and cosmetics have dried, and take it off first. Keep it away from water, sweat and sprays. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing; never use water, polish, toothpaste or chemicals. Store each piece in its own pouch with the silica sachet, in a closed box. The care guide has the full routine.
Can a piece be replated or repaired?
Yes. Loose stones, hooks and clasps are repaired at the store free within 30 days of delivery and for a small charge after that; replating a worn piece is possible for a small charge and takes a week or two. Write to us on WhatsApp with a photograph.
Still have a question?
Write to us, call the store, or ask on WhatsApp. A person answers, during store hours, and often outside them.
